Only if Deidra wears the Ring of Broken Spirit and shouts, even a morale of +5 will turn into -5, and luck won't be needed for the units, because they won't be able to move. Instead, they will be effortlessly shot down by skeletons, and after the battle, they will join the skeletons' army.
That's why I really regret that there are no artifacts like sandglasses, and the spirit of despair from the 3rd game (morale and luck are neutral).
And this ability is generally something that is developed more for fun, because in a serious game, going into it is a death sentence. In this case, only humans have bad luck; for the rest, it's at a normal level.
