Yes, it happened. On day 111, wolves weren't built. Scouting revealed an external dwelling of bears behind 20+ master genies. On day 112, I took a Pandora's Box for 5k experience (gave Leadership and Earth Magic). Days 113-114 - I took the human secondary hero (there was no road to the second secondary dungeon, I trudged through wasteland and captured it only on day 121) and a Pandora's Box for 15 Ogre Magi behind Vampires (excellent, now I have something to take the external dwelling behind the Genies with). Days 115-117 - I built up buildings 123457 in the Castle, discovered an external market (which was very handy because there were no income-generating buildings on the respawn at all, except for 2 Imp Cottages), took the external dwelling of Behemoths (though the losses against the Genies were huge - all of them as one cast Berserk and Fire Shield and wiped out my Birds and Goblins). On the second week, I captured a Sword +5 to all stats, took a couple of Dragon Fly Hives for 18 Wyverns, doubled my mana in the secondary town, and set up to break through before the GO of Pit Lords. On day 131, I upgraded the Bears (but only bought 6, had no money left at all), broke through the GO without losses, and then there was a block of Red Dragons guarding the Tome of Earth Magic and a Pandora's Box for 20k experience... it wasn't easy there... there were 30 regular Dragons + 6 upgraded ones, and they got morale almost every turn... at the end of the fight, I had a couple of Bears and a few Wyverns left in the army... and after that, I saw the opponent in the treasure zone... on his turn, he attacked, and 2 resists on his ducks helped him greatly... I ran away but didn't surrender immediately - I decided to try my luck... And in the end, I could have won in the second final fight, but I made a terrible blunder.... And I still had no money all this time, so in a desperate attempt, I exchanged all my resources, bought whatever I could, and went to capture the Utopia, but I didn't make it in a couple of steps, and the opponent with full control caught up to me, and that was the end.:smile34:
