I saw the classroom where I will be teaching for the first time. It's in the 5th grade. Poor kids, they are treated like they have intellectual disabilities. But the children are so funny, so good. They are mischievous, of course, but they will grow out of it with age. On Monday, I will conduct their first lesson. The topic is the culture of Ancient India. I will talk about the gods, Buddhism, inventions, and culture.
But I looked at their textbook - it's terrible! "Brahma is the supreme god of the Hindus." But he is a god to whom only one temple is dedicated in the entire country?!
