Started with restarts... and it was right here that I made the dumbest mistake: I took the restart on 113 because I thought I'd have to level a mage instead of a warrior (a complete lack of external dwellings)... But what kind of mage does a Swamp guy make? No mage at all, I thought, and in the end that's what "saved" me...
The final layout – slow roads, one into the GO, the other into a portal for 10-19 sharpshooters... A passage to Inferno-secondary via no-road for 10-19 archmagi. Another passage for 20-49 Medusas – into a portal via no-road deep in the respawn. Dealt an external dwelling of Gnolls, an external dwelling of Basilisks, and an external dwelling of Hydras for 50-99 Dire Wolves... I never did take it, because I had enough headaches without it..
Perhaps the WORST layout out of all that I've ever seen on 2cm4d3, but I still had to tough it out.. on the 4th day I had thoughts of giving up because of a cut-off wood mine, pathetic blocks, and an even more pathetic respawn, but, thanks to my opponent, "it's not good to start a playoff with a surrender" - and I went all the way. By the end of the week I captured a secondary Castle and found stables. I didn't build it, because money-wise it was complete crap. Homes 12346 in the citadel.
On 121 I take the upgraded Dwarf dwelling (26 Basilisks and 5 Wyverns made it possible without issues), Bron gets nothing useful — for the life of me! At level 6 I take Water, start searching for goodies, of which there aren't that many: a Griffin Conservatory 3 days' march from the Castle, a treasure zone in the sands through that same zone, and in it – an external dwelling of Angels.. I don't have time to take it on 127, only take it on 131 :( after that I run to the Griffin Conservatory and take it (2), until 142 I collect money/Pandora's Boxes nearby, but they only give some kind of crap and all level-2 magic. Before this, there were encounters with the opponent's heroes, they were mercilessly exterminated by 2 mages, the exchange at the end was 3 to 5.
Meeting with the opponent in the treasure zone from Inferno on 145, up to that point I have a tiny army, but I decide to hit-and-run with Bron's Ice Bolt dealing 170 damage and after two volleys I flee. The opponent, worn out by a lousy draw, total bad luck, and a lousy Dragon Utopia, decides to surrender :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

I confirm.....Probably one of my worst games in the tournament-if not the worst:( Starting from week 1-where all guards were very inconvenient-chose to hit Energy Elementals-lost 20 Centaurs((Next was a block of Gogs-there were another 49 of them with a gr stack:eek: lost 20 Centaurs and 5 Grands.Then-worse.Forcing my way to the secondary in the metro-lost 1 Unicorn out of 6-due to stupid terrain and morale((managed to break through-collected all the goodies-ran to the next respawn-where the opponent was visible-took the upgraded Hive easily-thankfully Dwarves and Woodies carry)Pushed towards the Monks again-and again 25 of them with a gr stack-3 or 4 morale:eek: -losing 2 Dwarves and a Unicorn-I already have a huge morale penalty((((After that everything seemed fine-broke into the treasure zone-cleared the accessible guards without losses-but damn Kyrre leveled horribly-no Tactics, no mass magic ever dropped-I won't even mention Defense...........on 141 there was a mega Dragon Utopia--where all the Unicorns were killed................And gave 2 bags of gold, a Water book and a level-5 hat-with my 20 mana it came in very handy......next comes complete nonsense-the shield is taken from under my nose and the army is left on an unleveled Tazar-I am 1 movement short of reaching him...........after which I thought I had blocked Tazar with the army-turns out I hadn't)And to top it off I got outplayed.................I lost all desire to play any further-gg.
I wouldn't wish such a game on anyone-it didn't bring me any fun.............Good luck MeFi on the tournament-at least the opponent was nice-understood the situation and agreed to reschedule the game-and generally communicated in a polite manner)it's pleasant to play with people like that)Good luck on the tournament)
To top it all off this horror-not a single Griffin Conservatory on 6 locations))))+ 1 Hive behind accessible guards))))
P.S.-I'll answer questions about continuing the game right away-I just didn't want to play any further!I play purely for enjoyment-when the game starts to piss me off-I don't want to continue it!So I can only apologize to the opponent-for not finishing the game!
