Questions regarding the beta and demo versions.

Guys, what the heck is going on? :( I uninstalled the old Heroes, downloaded the client from the official site yesterday. I patched it, and now it's telling me that there's no internet connection and I need to configure a proxy server... I've never had one. Last time, I configured it through a Chinese proxy and downloaded all the patches, but then it will probably give me an error connecting to Ubisoft again. What's the deal?
