So, the Mafia figured out who the patrol is and are writing notes from his account, while he remains silent? Yeah, very convincing.

If that were the case and Omega's status was good, the cop would try to protect Omega himself. Otherwise, he's just like the journalist – a newbie and a joke. But Omega doesn't seem to have any defenders; people are just making assumptions, which isn't really defending her.
