What script functions were added in v.3.1? I have version 3.0 installed, and I want to know what new and useful features have been added.

I created a map, set it to "single scenario," and wanted to play it with a friend over the network, but it only allows creating Multiplayer maps. Is it possible to convert my map from single-player to multiplayer without redoing it? Please advise.
