vadim_t, where did you find Cyrus (???)? There's a mage named Jalib there, but you don't have to attack him. You can capture the Necropolis town and then attack everyone else. This conclusion was made by viewing the map in the editor.

Firstly, capturing the mage's castle is one of the objectives. Jalib is near the castle; we defeat him, and then – through the teleporter – Cyrus happily arrives with some incredible movement and an invincible army ("No chance"). At the same time, the ONLY road leads through the mages, so no one will let me reach the Necromancer's castle (I only managed to take the outpost before Cyrus arrived). By the way, as Ment correctly pointed out, Cyrus can be easily seen in the tavern; he's the first in the list of active heroes – with such parameters and such an army:(
