I agree with you. There is no point in wasting executions just to figure out Ranodar.
The probability that Hos is Ranodar is 16%, if the priest's note is a fake (although mafia isn't a chess match, it's quite realistic to calculate moves based on known nights and anticipate someone's actions one move ahead (the luck factor doesn't go anywhere. What if someone has the "Elven Luck" perk? You never know :D ))

I must admit that this option doesn't please me either. I agree that it's better to already be alone with one mafia group where there are suspects (the moves of one side are easier to calculate), than to end up with two fully capable mafia groups (psychos are very dangerous even without Ranodar, but let's not say the surgeon is all white and fluffy, nor the recruited killer), who are set against the city, plus a man on top of that.

Gil, I do not agree to the alliance, as I don't trust the psycho-mafia. But being in a situation where something can still be controlled is better than getting caught in the "fire" of clashes between two mafias who won't be tearing each other's throats out (I think they realize that).
