Yes, it's clear that the Kirin was based on the Kirin, and that the images show ordinary lizards, etc. But if you look at the Kirin drawn by the Japanese themselves, and then at the one from Heroes 6, you'll understand what I'm talking about. Personally, I think they have something in common. But I'm not going to argue, everyone has a different perspective.
