All castles in Heroes 3.

Well, going into a siege with only skeletons... :D
And besides, there are some good alternatives to Necropolis units in the combined factions.
Phoenix is better than Bone Dragon and Wraith.
Ice Elemental is better than Wraith.
Air Elemental is better than Zombie (in my opinion!:D)
And Magic Elementals are still a good alternative to Black Knight.


Happiness isn't just about skeletons, but about Knights and Liches.:D

All these units are definitely better than their Necropolis counterparts...
Phoenixes are the fastest units in the game... plus their weekly growth rate...
Ice and Air Elementals shoot...
I would still question the Magic Elementals - in all respects, they are weaker than Death Knights, and they cannot be restored.

But... in all the time I've played, I've never built Wraiths, and Zombies - only unupgraded ones, for further construction... and I've never taken them into my army - they just get in the way... it's better to fill the slots with various other cheap units from the joined factions, and then pass them through the Transmuter... (also, it's worth looking in the tavern - sometimes a hero with 35-40 weak units, but not Necropolis, is also a good buy and then pass them through the Transmuter)

But in general... yes, happiness isn't just about skeletons, but about their quantity... )))
