Then I'm counting on two expansions, each with two new factions.

On the one hand, that would be nice (although I personally don't like having too many playable factions). But... it's unlikely that they will all appear in the game, although it's not a certainty... It would be a very pleasant surprise for the fans, which, in principle, is not typical for the developers... I think the dark elves will definitely appear, but I'm not sure about the others. If the product generates good profits after release, I think we can expect all the factions to appear. Otherwise... it might be limited to one expansion with the dark elves...
Besides, the more factions there are, the harder it is to establish a good game balance. Patches will be necessary.
By the way, it's likely that full city screens will appear with the first expansion. It's already too late to fix this, as there's only a month left until the release, but the players' discontent is growing. I think the developers won't harm themselves and will do everything.
