Unfortunately, I still can't understand the initiative system; to be more precise, I understand it, but it's impossible to predict anything, even when sober.

Well... that's your personal problem. The initiative system is one of the best features of the fifth game. It's a shame they abandoned it in the sixth game. That's a drawback.

They pleased the students, they pleased the players – that's the main audience. Not everyone, of course, but the majority.
Rass is not bigger, though.
