You can plan the heroes' movements even during the opponent's turn, and not just for one day ahead. And some difficult battles that open up good opportunities shouldn't be conducted at a frantic pace, just to lose. It's one thing when a player spends a minute thinking about where to move – one step to the right or diagonally, and another thing when they simply don't have enough time to conduct five battles using a long chain of actions in a single day.
