Several mistakes regarding the economy, and taking the wrong path towards the pit hideout, where a two-way portal stood, decided the outcome. The portal was two-way but didn't lead anywhere. With 121 gold, it was enough to buy a few Gogs; there was no desire to play that way. And there wasn't enough strength to overcome the maximum Medusa or 2 Naga banks. But overall, it was a good counter against the opponent's 3 dragon hideouts (at least for now).
