Sacred Haven of Debauchery

I used to sneak around, steal (waiting for NPCs to turn away or move), and do hit-and-run attacks. I remember stealing from a store, then selling the same items back to the store owner, and he recognized them and attacked me =\ it was awful.
I don't remember exactly which part of the game it was, though.
