Confirmed. I don't recall another game that was this lengthy and interesting at the same time. There was something similar in a tournament on Yolka with Kostyan, but in that one, the second half of the game was dreadfully boring.
I messed up a bit with the choice of town, spent a long time thinking about what was better: giving the opponent Flinx against my Rampart, or a Rampart with the prospect of rotating to Barbarian/Inferno myself. I chose the first option, but the opponent unexpectedly took Rampart.
We played in several sessions, and I often forgot about the autosave, so I don't remember much. Starting with Pasus, I decided to keep and level her. A hut with a Lich is by the Castle, I ran all my heroes through it, flagged an external dwelling of Earth Magic, but couldn't break into the secondary town (this is becoming a tradition for me). Although the respawn was quite large and I took 2 crypts, Magi showed up in the Citadel instead of the expected Birds in the Fort.
The second week was rather modest; I earned a lot of money, built Birds, but without a Castle — I didn't have enough Wood and Ore, which I had traded away :D but I had a lot of money for buying heroes. I flagged Wind Dancers and Pixies, the Rampart secondary hero, the army was battered in battles (especially in Max's gnome with the stack).
On week 131, a failure occurs: an accelerated Mother Heroine heads towards Lich's Monks for a Hive and a chest, expecting to see maybe 40 of them there at most, but at the start of the week there turn out to be 50+. I attack without changing plans — these bastards merge into 2 stacks with Hypnotize and take out 3 of my 5 Birds and other units in small numbers  And all this for... a minimal Hive! My morale disappears, along with plans for a Dragon Utopia in the third week. Next, I take another Hive for 8 with about 100 Elves and head to the treasure zone.
In the fourth week, I clear the treasure zone, taking one low-end Dragon Utopia (Sword of the Titan, KO, Sea Captain's Hat), leaving another, a couple of Hives, an external Angel dwelling, some other artifacts, and Pandora's Boxes. I break into the opponent's secondary town and unexpectedly take an untouched Griffin Conservatory there, which turns out to be maxed :) I fight in Rampart and in the fifth week go to another treasure zone, which turns out to be decent — a Library, 2 external Devil dwellings, 2 Pandora's Boxes with 10K gold each, 1 with 20 Pit Fiends, a couple of Hives, a Dragon Shield, and a quest artifact for 4 Firebirds , the quest gave me 12 Efreet Sultans. Somewhere at the beginning of the sixth week, I take the previously left Dragon Utopia for Wings, fight my way home to replenish mana, and head to the opponent, capturing a Hive on his side of ГО along the way. Well, the rest has already been described :)
Thanks for the game!
