...I wanted to draw parallels with professional tennis:
For example, the winner gets 200 points, the finalist gets 100 points, the semi-finalists get 50 each, the quarter-finalists get 25, and so on;

The rating system makes sense not within a single tournament, but within a series of tournaments with the same participants. Within the tournament itself, there is not much point in calculating the rating. Here, everything is simply - whoever finishes first wins... And the rating is a separate topic, and it has already been discussed many times, in my opinion... So, I don't think there is a need for it yet...
