Toria burned the Avenger - she bet that the Mafia would think: "Toria will be protected or healed" and won't go to him, and the Witch will expect that Toria won't be bothered a second time (precisely because of the protection) and won't heal him. In short, everyone ignored Toria except the Avenger. There is one positive thing that happened - the protectors didn't die. However, the severed head of the guard seems to indicate the Chief's fate... or maybe it's just for the sake of a beautiful description, I'll have to think about it more. The role is not entirely clear - it could be the Viceroy, the Duke, or the Chief of the Guard. Reinhard was killed by the Archer. I don't understand what role is connected with the clock - either the Abbot ("the city's first mechanic") or the Advisor (head of the university - also a kind of scientist), or the Technomage, but I don't see any possible connection with the clock in the role description. "It seems he wanted to protect himself" - is this a hint at 50% protection for the role? I haven't analyzed the notes yet. In general, the newspaper is good (I'm not talking about the results, of course, but about the clarity of the description - I still can't forget Nairu getting hit in the head with a horseshoe). Vis is doing a good job.
