Yes, but you know, there's an old joke about how people read the first and last couple of letters and make up the rest themselves. So it's not surprising.

I had a funny experience with this. Originally, it was OMEGA, but the nickname was already taken on the forums, so the prefix "Prince" or Konung appeared if you couldn't use Russian letters in the nickname. As a result, on the forums, everyone distorts it as they want, but in the games themselves, where I am specifically OMEGA, it is quickly and unanimously shortened to OM or OMych :)
