I have never seen a poorer respawn. On the first turn I scouted Isra and understood it was done intentionally hoping for a restart. I saw 2 pixies of elves from my scouting hero, so I didn't restart. I only had enough gold to recruit the elves from the pixies and the castle. Somehow I built 1-4 in the Citadel and only 3 heroes(( No stable, no tempo. Kyrre was getting various goodies, tactics, earth, etc., so the log didn't progress. At the start of week 2, I broke the guard at the grass respawn and sent a scout hero there, but he couldn't find the castle — blocks everywhere. I took a second secondary hero, then went into the treasure zone. I was 2 tiles short of catching Isra with unupgraded archers and 5 birds (they would have all fallen). I lost on army size. In terms of stats, I was ahead by a head: 6-16-3-3, while Isra was showing 3-3-4-4.
