I was confused when reading Mr. Alexdoublesmile's post. The categorization by genre and the selection of horror films are appalling.

Personally, I found Troy to be a very worthy film... One of the best in its genre, perhaps, because of the ideas that the film's script conveys and the values that are brought to the forefront.
Regarding Indiana Jones and Sherlock, I just forgot, as did many others, probably, about other good films - because I was writing on the fly.
In fact, it's probably silly to think that there is an objective assessment of anything, because it depends exclusively on the criteria for evaluation, which in turn depends on the desired result. And it is individual for everyone. Films are no exception.
For example, for me, any comedy, although I like to watch them, doesn't leave a noticeable impression, as well as any horror film, which is why the low ratings. Don't take it to heart - there are as many opinions as there are people. I wouldn't want to impose my own. I'm just sharing my thoughts.
