No, quite the opposite – those who play as Tower often like Swamp. In both cases, a defensive strategy works (although Castles are undoubtedly quite different...). But I like both.
I don't know, my very first city was Castle, because I started playing with Era of Reckoning, and the funny thing is, my cousin taught me how to play. I played very badly, copying his tactics and style, but after about a year, I "dominated" everyone I knew who played Heroes... Anyway, I got carried away. After that, I really liked Tower, with Solmyr, and I lost all the maps against it... then I really liked Dungeon with Gurak (from Conquest of Evil :)), but I never really considered Stronghold and Swamp as cities; I couldn't even win a single game. Then I met a friend, Adelofofag (he signed up for the tournament here; he'll definitely appear on the forum when he's done with his exams), and he played Stronghold very well; he kind of opened up the Stronghold city for me!!! Then, at university, I met a guy who played Swamp incredibly well, and he had his own tactics, very different from others... after that, I got into Swamp, and I've always played Necropolis quite well, but then I got into Armageddon's Blade, and since then, I've been playing and consider it the strongest city... about Rampart, I can say that I play it well, but I've never been particularly fond of it, except a couple of times when I learned about Jhelu.... ...Years have passed, and now when people ask me: "What's your favorite city?" I answer ALL!!!
