I played on Veteran difficulty... and with a full army, I easily defeated the dragon... I don't know about the Warrior, I think there should be fewer of them, so you need to run around less; you can complete it in about 7-10 days... And besides, the mission is easy and short, so you can replay it and finish it in about an hour...
