That's why I love mafia with clues – it starts a commotion, confusion, and the herd is thrown into disarray even without anyone's malicious intent.

Whose cigar label fell off, where did the maid get the coat of arms on her dress, who is having fun with bookkeeping at a spy base, why do mafiosi turn into wild animals at night, why are olive pits falling out of a person, and when will it stop, what did the GM smoke that even the corpse's face turned green, and so on, and so forth.

Never mind, Siver, not everything is realistic. And, by the way, logically, there shouldn't be any clues on a mercenary at all, but the rules require it.

Okay, jokes aside, but for most players, the real night is approaching, and there are no candidates except for the ill-fated NNV.
Maybe we should think about who the investigators should go to, since there are no new clues and we are unlikely to execute anyone?
