I haven't played Mafia before and don't know if it should involve killing anyone, like a mercenary or a maniac in the Vegtam Mafia (or whatever it's called).
Should it?

Hmm, probably not. But that's not what I'm talking about. Are both Mafias full of pacifists? That seems unlikely and strange. You can't achieve victory without killing.
