Can it replace the default game version?

Well, the old rules needed to be changed; thanks to them, but their time has passed. :)
I took on organizing the tournament mainly because I want to unite representatives from both camps (SOD and VT) in one tournament, without disadvantaging anyone. You just need to be willing to compromise!
The current rules are how I envision Heroes on the VT platform: all the advantages of SOD combined with the convenience and best features of VT (especially the ease of playing HL templates).
The main thing is not to be afraid of the VT platform itself... It's still the same Heroes, and it took me just one game there to realize that (I used to be skeptical).
In fact, in the previous FB, 90% of the games were played on VT, and the rule about SOD being the default was more like an unspoken agreement. Now, I've taken the liberty of correcting that line, and I've also slightly diversified the tournament system, but that's secondary.
And don't forget that you can always agree with your opponent on your own rules; for example, I'm ready to play by any reasonable rules. (I'd even play Jebus against Pasha, if it came to that :))

I'd like to see more newcomers here. If anyone needs help setting up/understanding VT or wants to play a test game, write to me, and I'll be happy to help.

In general, if we get 10 people in 2 groups, that's a good start. We've already delayed the selection process, so we need to speed things up.

As a last resort, if I'm out of touch and have come up with some nonsense with the rules, and we don't get enough participants, I'll run everything according to the SK2TV rules - a guaranteed success ;)
