And warriors need charisma – for some inexplicable reason, their attack speed depends on it.
In one game, I had a fully maxed-out Knight Archon, and that was it. It fights well, has a fire attack, which allows you to quickly destroy buildings, it flies, which allows for sabotage, and it attacks both ground and air units, plus it heals poisons/diseases and restores 50 HP, which isn't much, but it's something. It can handle most titans one-on-one and doesn't die because it flies. However, in its overfed state, it consumes 21 points to go on a mission, and there isn't always that much available. Therefore, someone else occasionally lives in the adjacent slot, although I don't take as much care of them as I do of the Archon. However, there was one case where a regular swordsman, standing on defense against endless attacks, suddenly leveled up. I saved him and even maxed him out. He even consumes few points at level 20 and sometimes fits into a party with the Archon :D. Also, I like to have Inquisitors or Demon Lords-Summoners in my party; they strengthen the army very quickly and effectively when they're well-fed.
