Current questions and answers regarding the map editor.

I also have many problems
1. The maps I create weigh only 1KB.
2. If I fix maps from the generator, I can only do it once (I can't fix them again).
3. I can't create an underground world.
4. How do I arrange underground/above-ground passages and monoliths (portals) in pairs?
The maps I download from the internet don't install (only one out of twenty installs).
I have Heroes 5, version 1.0, and Hammers of Fate 2.0.
Please help!

1. Check the map names and the path to the game (there should be no Cyrillic characters).
2. See point 1.
3. Is this problem occurring when creating the map? When creating/generating, enable the "two-level map" option.
4. It's also not entirely clear what's happening there - I can suggest unpacking files with the .h5m extension into the Maps folder of the installed game. For version 1.0, you need to put the maps in the data folder - it's possible that this version of the game simply doesn't recognize maps created for, say, "Lords of the Horde." The solution seems to be to update the game to versions 1.5 or 1.6 (and "Hammers of Fate" to version 2.1).
