111 Compared to previous restarts, the day 1 spawn seems alright.
113 Two Pandora's Boxes appeared at the respawn, along with an external dwelling of elves, though guarded by 20-49 horned demons.
116 Scouts captured the secondary town "Dungeon" via the bypass road.
117 The external dwelling turned out to contain 44 Hordies:eek: , meat, and 1 unicorn in the negative:smile16: .
Low on gold, so the planned portal in the Dungeon didn't work out… but managed to scrape enough together for a Castle with some trade.
122 Breached the entrance to the underground, 30 dwarves there.
124 Secondary town "Inferno", a couple of crypts; got the Necklace of Speed +1.
125 Pandora's Box with 46 Gold Golems gave 10k experience.
127 Headed to the only tasty visible area with a Naga Bank, Dragon Fly Hive, and Griffin Conservatory. :smile13:
134 Ate everything; across 3 respawns, there was only 1 Griffin Conservatory (1). 2 Dragon Fly Hives with 10 Wyverns each.
135 Checking the Dragon Utopia near "Dungeon" (1), built a Mage Guild — level 5 gave Dimension Door:smile03: . Heading to the underground into a partially revealed treasure zone.
137 Pleasantly, the treasure zone had a Pandora's Box with full Fire magic:smile44: , Shield +6, Cloak of Speed +2, Golden Bow, Orb of the Earth. But sadly only 1 Dragon Fly Hive (6).
141 Teleported to the nearest town (Fire magic skill was never given) with a view of a Dragon Utopia.
142 The Dragon Utopia gave junk…:smile18: then immediately another Dragon Utopia appeared in a different treasure zone.
143 Scouts breach the entrance to the treasure zone and reveal some terrain… eat 2 Pandora's Boxes for 30k experience, see Dragon Fly Hives — decide to get some reinforcements before the Dragon Utopia. Breach the guard with elves and hand them to a scout to keep them safe in the Dragon Utopia, stock up on meat and stand ready to take the Dragon Utopia. Then on Blue's turn, Caitlin pops out, kills my 106 elves with no chance to retreat, and snatches the Dragon Utopia from under my nose….:smile35: :smile35: :smile35:
144 In my distraction, instead of moving troops and attacking the weakened Caitlin after the Dragon Utopia, I ate the remaining visible Dragon Fly Hives and left.
145 Judging by stats, Caitlin seems to have gotten good artifacts for Attack power. Defense and Attack are still a bit weak though. Decide to run to the opponent's Capital, but messed up the Town Portal and teleported somewhere else, losing turns((((
146 Reached Blue's capital.
212 Hanging around trying to figure out the exits to the treasure zones. Peeked into another one but saw it was already empty….:smile31:
214 Meanwhile Caitlin, having feasted on stats, takes my capital.
215 The treasure zones are empty now, I decide to attack the Castle.
