I've seen this thing in person. Not only is it unpleasant, but my friend's neighbor has one, and you have to cuddle with it in the winter, or it will freeze to death. What's the point of that?
They're cool, adorable. It's just that the Russian people are already used to animals with fur; it's like those old Soviet grandfathers and grandmothers, they just can't get over the stereotypes.
