The Black Lord, in this context, refers to the Lord of the Black Horde (in my book, these are evil guys and gals in black cloaks with hoods, black pants, black boots, black armor, and black masks).

Evil guys are the forces of evil? Probably yes.
The lord of evil guys is the lord of the forces of evil.
The lord of the forces of evil is the Dark Lord.

In general, no one knows what's going on in your head (if anything is going on there at all), and they have no way of knowing that "Blacks" are a negroid race from something that only exists in words.
