What are you listening to right now?

listening to something repeatedly - boo, I don't understand how Lizards, Revants, and the like can listen to the same song ten times in a row. It just gets boring quickly, and it kills the positive emotions you get from a good song.

My neighbor listens like that :) It all depends on the person; for example, I usually can't even listen to a song twice in a row, except in rare cases. However, if I really like a song that I haven't heard before, I might listen to it up to 10 times a day, but that feeling passes after a couple of days :)

Not so much if it's good, but the music should be appropriate - not intrusive. For example, some game soundtracks are like that; they are designed so that the player doesn't get tired of them.

tell me, humans and non-humans, why listen randomly? Well, at least mostly. After all, albums aren't just made for nothing; they are put together with a common theme, sound, and the songs are arranged in the album specifically (introduction, ending, and interludes, maybe some order of moods, and so on, many things can be done), all of this is so that you can listen to an album from start to finish.

I completely agree. However, I listen about 50/50 - either albums or the song I want to listen to at the moment. And when I try to listen randomly, I still switch after each song.
