No, it doesn't. And it deviates quite a bit from the book's content. But if someone watches the director's cut instead of the theatrical version, without having read the book, they will understand what's happening in the theatrical version. In other words, the cut scenes (not included in the theatrical version) allow one to logically piece together the events unfolding on the screen...:smile01:
