Logical. Because for humans, the Guardians are infantry, and the Archers are ranged units. And both female units are mages. Both are very similar in appearance. Moreover, they differ only in skin color and dress.
And yes, they don't look like they're made of water, but rather like they're made of transparent plasticine.
