Do you control a squad in Heroes of Might and Magic?

I don't play the second one. Haha.
But in Battlegrounds and Icewind Dale, I control them myself, yes.

But you don't understand.
Why would I need a third-person game with a squad? I might not even play such a game. I'd rather play something like Gothic or Oblivion, where you walk around alone. Besides, it's UNCOMFORTABLE to play a third-person game with a squad. IMHO. And I don't like that, so I want the game to have a top-down perspective.

I've already said that I don't need realism and other "advantages" of new graphics. I don't need the sun to reflect in the windows, the leaves to rustle in the wind, and so on.
