Pfft. Someone who's just interested in graphics, and even from a third-person perspective. That's just going to be bad. Tactical gameplay and beautiful visuals are essential.

Is an old-timer complaining? It's clear you haven't played Fallout 3. It has full 3D graphics, and that doesn't stop Fallout from being Fallout. And in general, this top-down view system in RPGs is already outdated. Moreover, it has well-known flaws – for example, the problem with isometric perspective, creating multiple levels in a building, and so on.
