William the Stout (French: Guillaume Tête d'Étoupe, c. 910 – April 3, 963) was Count of Poitiers (William I) from 934, Count of the Duchy of Aquitaine from 959, Duke of Aquitaine from 962 (William III), and Count of Auvergne (William III) from 950. He was the son of Eble Manzer, Count of Poitiers, and Eremburga.
