very often, in my opinion, such things happen in a chain: a hero or sub-hero rushes to a resource point along a rough road. a chain from some area moves troops, targeting the hero/sub-hero. at the same time, the sub-hero/hero moves away from the end where the army left, the chain moves towards its own other resource point. all this happens in one day (i.e., we assume that one end found the second resource point, while taking the first one). on the next day, the chain delivers the army, one resource point is taken, part of the chain is built up to the second resource point, on the next day the army moves to the second resource point, and the one who took the first one is defeated and moves to the third, while the chain is also rebuilt to reach him, and on the next day, the third resource point can also be taken.
that is, often there is a breakdown and a two-headed chain, the heads of the chain travel along the road or are defeated, but the chain maneuvers.
