Well, I have to say, it feels like Heroes decided to mess with me:smile29:.

1) I went for a pure warrior build, as there was nothing worthwhile in the Light magic, and at level 15, I only got 2 spells. In battle, resistance worked a couple of times, so I defeated the Tower's troops without much trouble.

From the start, I chose Letos, bought boots, and leveled up properly in 2 magic schools with good spells. But... all the stats went into attack: Attack -15!, magic only 9 - I had to buy a staff and increase it by +2. As a result, magic became only 14, and plague dealt only 228 damage. Well, resistance definitely played a big role: no spell like berserk worked.

2) Soldier's Luck, the Stun rune, and mass haste, together with leadership, greatly affected the game, practically preventing the opponent's troops from moving.

I leveled up Helmar against Light and Chaos (and there were almost all artifacts against him) with defense and magic resistance. But Soldier's Luck and the Thunder Rune decided everything, despite the fact that the opponent didn't take defense... In short, it's nonsense.

3) I got Education, which gave me an advantage in stats, plus it helped with Subjugation and mass debuffs.

In reality, what decided the game was that I didn't get Anti-Magic, Subjugation on the harpies, and a couple of shots from the archers...
