Tournament reports for "Clash of Clans" in Heroes of Might and Magic 5: Tribes of the East 3.1.
"Keepers of a Heavenly Gate" vs "Alliance of Light". Ranked Team Arena (RTA).
Barney - Arandor
Match 1: Barney (Undead, Orson) defeated Arandor (Humans, Dugal)
Match 2: Arandor (Dwarves, Inga) lost to Barney (Orcs, Shaq)
Match 3: Barney (Elves, Ilfina) defeated Arandor (Elves, Talanar)
Final score: 3-0 in favor of Barney.
Match 1: I was a little disappointed that there was no Plague and Slow, but instead there was a Disintegrate spell and Slow =). The summons worked great and helped to deal with the archers. The zombies were simply amazing, cutting down almost the entire stack with each attack.
Match 2: A standard Orc vs. Dwarf match, with fire resistance through the Blessing of Light spell. But the Dwarf went for Cold damage, so it didn't help. Fortunately, the Dwarf had no protection and fell quite quickly; neither Immovability nor Resurrection could help. Towards the end, Inga also started using Vengeance, and that was scary (I completely forgot that Vengeance wasn't banned in this version...).
Match 3: When I saw the Archangel of Light, I almost wanted to concede... The opponent's archers moved before mine... I had to sacrifice the dragons to the Ents to destroy the archers. This move largely decided the game; after that, Talanar had only 18 archers left...
Thanks for the games!
