Well, we also have a lot of promising players in our youth team. Maybe starting next year, they will finally start giving them playing time in preparation for the Olympics.
Although, it's possible that now all the Finnish and Swedish youth players will be bought up by KHL clubs, and ours will be left sitting on the bench:(.
I don't think they will be left on the bench. In Russia, starting next season, the MHL league will reach a new level, with increased prize money, significance, and status. It will be something like the overseas AHL.
Moreover, in August of this year, our city will host the 1st World Cup among youth clubs (something like that, I didn't go into detail). There will be Canadians and everyone else.
And besides, it's clear to everyone that rejuvenating the squad is necessary, and replacing the old guard is not a problem :)
And, of course, for the Olympics, at least a third of the squad needs to be updated, but we need to see who proves themselves.
P.S. And it seems that Bykov has exhausted himself; there was absolutely no team play.
