13.05.11 Heroes of Might and Magic 3 (red, fortress, tazar, thant) def R55Max (blue, necr, isra, nagash) 8xm12a 143
There was no reason on one side to restart, but not much to play either. I painted an external dwelling of wasps. Tight on money. Ran into guard of a Dragon Fly Hive on the road to the native town on 113. Can't take a restart anymore.. Turned around, went the other way. Came to a fork, and there's a hive block. Went to paint a Conflux town, and there's a hive behind a horde of pegasi o_O And so I'm standing there on 116, completely blocked, thinking what to do with such a layout.. Went cross-country to a mercury mine, purely because of a horde of skeletons. Nearby a cloak behind a pile of grand dendroids. On 117 stood next to it. Didn't build the Citadel, to have a bit of money for recruitment. Trying to salvage a dead layout. Brought up archers and wyverns, made fools of them with a marksman, until morale kicked in. Surprisingly easy to handle. After clearing, I break through to my native secondary hero. There are 2 hives, with Thant no big problems, seemed like even maxed. Another hive above the castle. Then to the Conflux, there another 2 hives and a Nagash, some pepper and a +5 amulet. And in the remaining direction, another 2 Dragon Fly Hives. Almost 50 Wyverns in the middle of week 3. And in the capital I only just built the Citadel.. :) Got out to the Necro computer, and there's a capitol, a boost and a meat grinder, what a gift :) Not for nothing did I gather peasants. Brought everyone, threw them into the grinder, and on 141 I have a personal record =) Stats are a problem though, need a Dragon Utopia urgently. See 1, scratched our way to it. Here comes Nagash himself out of thin air, takes Conflux, goes all out. Upgrade bones urgently, and rush faster. Epic fail, a trail of breadcrumbs.. Instead of taking Necropolis, Nagash goes towards the folder, or rather the scout hero who was building the chain, and catches them at the worst moment. 1 day short of reaching the Dragon Utopia :( I line up in tactics, on that side haste, on my side slow, they put skeletons under the Wyverns... Overall not the best fight, and you know it yourself Andrey.. :) Thanks for the game!
P.S. screw this HMM, total mess.
Overall the template is awful. Playing for the 2nd time, the 1st time - an unfinished game with Sevensan so far, but for the 2nd time in a row I find myself locked in my castle. One road leads to a town (Necropolis) and that's it. The other goes one-way to who knows where in the snow, god knows how far. I see 2 Dragon Utopias, decide to skeleton farm and look for Dimension Door in the utopias. On week 3 I get over a thousand skeletons and take 2 utopias, got Dimension Door (one is junk, the other will do for a Sword of the Valiant). I have mass haste and slow, cloak up to level 3.
142 - I jump with about 1100 grand skeletons and a decent army onto the red's lands, quickly and successfully take Conflux, use DD, notice hives, the same peasant dwellings, but follow the tracks towards the Fortress. Was 100% sure of victory before the Fortress (and in vain, there turned out to be necromancy artifacts and a boost), but seeing a couple hundred more skeletons, I didn't give importance to the red's strength, since my stats are higher, I have haste and slow with the cloak up to level 3, and bone dragons give the right to manipulate spell order, but out of stupidity I cast haste instead of waiting until the red's cast and get slowed with all that entails, the gate is open and they wipe me out one-sidedly, all that's left is to be glad I'm going in head first :)
P.S. personal record in the absence of any necro artifacts...
Thanks for the game.

It was a tough match, as a result of which, the reds, running around with all their strong power in the form of Tazar without control, surrender.
Thanks for the game.
