And generally, the elevator only goes from the third to the ninth floor. It’s a strange system.
I used to live in a more upscale backwater; there, I occupied a third of the fourth floor. There was an elevator from the first to the ninth, but I usually walked anyway.
Only when I was tired would I take the elevator up.
