Things aren't easy in our country right now, but that doesn't mean we should give up and run away to save our own skins where life is better.
Besides, it's not a given that life is better there. ;) It's the same old story, just like in Russia, only the officials don't steal; they just brazenly come up and take what they want. Did you see the movie "Kin-dza-dza"? It was set in the 70s and 80s, but the essence is the same. And "little people," like accountants or waiters, aren't even considered people.
Alex, with all due respect, I've never seen anyone in Moscow, when mentioning Siberia, call its population "subhumans" or "underdeveloped." I'll tell you that even the "nouveau riche" treat Siberians with relative respect (and I've witnessed it). At worst, they say that it's very cold in Siberia.

+1!!! And even though I absolutely disagree with both Alex and Pearl, the truth is revealed in a debate! I am, without a doubt, a patriot... understand it however you want. Essentially, a patriot is someone who LOVES their homeland and BELIEVES in it. That's the most important thing! Yes, that's me! I can't imagine life without Russia, Rus'... People, just come visit our city, just feel THIS!!!!!!!!! Take a look at St. Sophia's Cathedral - and no words are needed!!! This hasn't gone anywhere... we've been through a lot, and I'm sure we'll go through a lot more! Because Russian people (whether they're Siberians, Tatars, or someone else) are something inexplicable. No one has ever been able to understand us - because we are special... All our treasures are hidden inside... the SOUL... and the economy is secondary! (and so the economist in me died ;) ) Well, yes, the officials... yes, they steal... But when have they not stolen in our country???? And yet we still live and thrive! ;) People, that's not the main thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How don't you understand... In general, those who want to understand and believe will do so. There's nothing worse than trying to convince someone when you know your efforts are futile. ;) People, LIVE!!!!!!!! Just live...
Eee... Tanya, did you write this yourself or did you take it from Zadornov (a compliment)???
I'm impressed... I take my hat off to you. :)
