Sacred Haven of Debauchery

We have a similar nerd in our class; he's completely weird and out of touch. Everyone treats him like an idiot, but I treat him... well, I'm not sure how to describe it, but like a reflection in a mirror, so I don't make fun of him or anything.
When he tries to be funny, it's always so dull, or it's a tired joke, or it's incredibly banal. And he always talks as if he's invented something epic.
He constantly states the obvious – he says things that everyone already knows, and he does it with the same expression and intonation, as if he's discovered America.
He also has coordination problems; he's all twitchy. And he often gets nervous for no reason.
And, of course, in his free time, he plays some online game. I don't understand how he survives there, because he should be treated the same way there as he is at school.
In general, these kinds of people aren't very smart by nature, but they compensate for it by memorizing things and being a stereotypical nerd.
