So, we've figured out the reason for the disastrous outcome: Vissy is a noob and a loser. He wastes ammo shooting into empty space and carries heavy machine guns on his back. Why waste ammo on nothing when you can shoot at the enemy? Of course, it's better not to do this from behind cover, but doing it from half-screen distance can be a one-shot kill. How can you possibly spend all your ammo? I don't know, but I had a storage room in my military base where I kept the bulk of my ammo, rockets, and flamethrower fuel, and I kept a smaller supply in my highwayman's inventory. I tried really hard to use up all my ammo, but I couldn't. And large-scale battles, like those against the Navarro, slave traders, or bandits, are just a breeze. The psycho goes crazy, walks into the middle of the room, fires two bursts or streams of fire, and half a dozen enemies are lying on the floor. It's more effective and more spectacular than stepping out of a doorway, shooting twice at the eyes, getting a "deadly claw inflicted a wound with no consequences" message, and then reloading with the remaining two action points. If you can't shoot without hitting your companions, for example, then you're unskilled. If you can't adjust their behavior so they don't run into bullets, then you're unskilled. Although, I usually played with heavy weapons without companions. If you're wasting thousands of rounds, then you're doing something wrong, and you're unskilled. It's obvious. And if you need to kill someone specific, then nothing beats firing bursts from the Jackhammer at close range. It deals an insane amount of damage, only surpassed by the Bozar. Although, judging by the fact that you called it garbage, I doubt you even know what weapon I'm talking about.
