I had to open the map in the editor. The guardian of the passage is in cell 60, 76 (see screenshot):
Ah, there's a red hero with books standing there at the beginning. I understand, you thought: he'll give up the books and pass through - but no! I checked by starting the game again: the red hero dies immediately when attacking this Rampart! A miscalculation, sir! :(

I didn't set any time limits on the Ramparts, otherwise I wouldn't have understood your question. Perhaps your computer is playing unfairly?

Since this is not the first case, I must say: it seems that you don't know your maps well and don't even test them! :( And indeed, why bother - aren't we the testers?! ;)
And one more thing: maybe stop leaving the entire text of the previous message in your replies? ;)
