But the chance of a light creature appearing is incredibly small, maybe around 10%, and based on my experience (and the experience of two friends I play with), light creatures appear quite often with Zoltan, but rarely with the Daedra. Under these "ideal conditions," it's impossible to defeat the gnome – he'll be covered in runes and constantly renewing them. He'll also boost his spirit with artifacts, so with everything combined (SA and artifacts), you'll be able to defeat him with 12 units of combat spirit, while the gnome will have 8 units, assuming he finds all the Lion's gear. The Daedra will consume 4 units of combat spirit, which means that, sooner or later, gnomes will start appearing. I don't envy you!
