Discussion about the FORTRESS race – Dwarves.

So, the add-on is out, and we can start a proper discussion about this faction based on facts. My first impression is that they seem to have low damage output, and the hero with the 0-1-2-2 skill set looks more like a mage (although we can say something more specific about the hero after SkillWell releases the update with the dwarves).
The Castle is built for defense. One building strengthens the walls and towers. Another allows you to deploy an additional unit on the battlefield (as far as I understand, but I couldn't verify it because no one attacked). Plus, the Castle has buildings that increase the recruitment rate for units of level 4-5, which also seems good. The Castle's development tree is quite interesting; you need a forge for money (like the Academy's guild of mages), so perhaps War Machines are one of their main skills...
I didn't have time to look at all the heroes, but I liked the hero with the javelin throwers; he reminded me of the hero with assassins from the League of Shadows.
